Description
The automatic device is initialising (e.g. searching for step motor reference) or an error occurred.
If an error occurred, the display switches automatically to show the error and, instead of
the status 00 number, it indicates the current error (e.g. "F11").
The automatic device is ready to work but there is no heat request.
If the parameter set stick function is active (P10) in this status the adapted parameters set
is compared to MPA settings and, after receiving the go ahead by means of the password,
the data are copied to the MPA. The password has to be entered using the display. For
this purpose a little "c" flashes.
not yet in inactivity status or the step motor has not reached its position yet, the MPA
deactivates issuing an error message.
Based on the LDW operating mode (P14) it is checked if LDW signals "no air pressure".
The watchdog circuit is activated, important for safety.
Wait for the step motor to reach its rated pre-ventilation position
a n d t h e f a n t o r e a c h i t s r a t e d p r e - v e n t i l a t i o n r e v s v a l u e .
Caution! During fan command the fan responses are not monitored!
Based on the LDW operating mode (P14) wait for the air pressure switch to signal the
air pressure presence.
In this status, you can decide whether to perform a valve check during start up. See
paragraph 7.3.2 Operation with valve check system. If a valve check is not needed, you
move to the status "pre-ventilation A". This status lasts only 1/16 of a second.
V2 is opened (P42) to empty the gap between the valves and compensate the gas
pressure that could still be present.
During the defined check time (P43), in the gap between the valves should not produce
any gas pressure otherwise the valve 1 is considered to be " not airtight".
V1 is opened (P44) to fill the gap between the valves with gas pressure.
This status lasts only for 1/8 of a second and is needed to monitor the GDWVPS gas
pressure switch.
D u r i n g t h e d e f i n e d c h e c k t i m e ( P 4 5 ) , t h e g a s p r e s s u r e s h o u l d
not drop otherwise the valve 2 is considered to be "not airtight".
Note: in case of MPA operation with pilot flame, it can also not be airtight for example the
supplementary valve (= main flame) even if the error message refers to V2!
This status ensures a sufficient pre-ventilation. The defined duration (P60) is respected
during each start up.
This time corresponds to a second pre-ventilation time. Opposed to the "pre-ventilation
A" status, this status is however skipped if the last MPA deactivation has been an
adjustment switch off with valve tightness control successfully executed. Moreover,
since the last deactivation there should not have been a voltage interruption.
This status can be used for example to perform a "reduced pre-ventilation", in this case the
duration (P61) is defined in the "pre-ventilation B" status and the duration of "pre-ventilation
A" (P60) is adjusted to 0 seconds or to the minimum necessary pre-ventilation time.
To note: the actual pre-ventilation time is possibly prolonged due to the valve
tightness check times (from P40 to P15) during start up if this function is active.
See also paragraph 7.2.3 "Operation with reduced pre-ventilation".
The MPA adjusts itself on the special modulation point "ignition position".
This status lasts as long as the step motor reaches its new position and the fan does not
work at its new revs value. During fan adjustment, the MPA waits for the fan to stabilise
(identification of the maximum and minimum point in the tolerance range).
Valve 1 is opened so that gas pressure can form between the valves and GDWVPS detects
the presence of gas pressure (P62). If both valve check types (start P40 and switch off
P41) are not active, GDWVPS is not monitored! A jumper is not necessary.
Ignition is already activated (P63) without the valve 2 open. The valve 1 output is already
active!
I n t h i s l a p s e o f t i m e ( P 6 4 ) i g n i t i o n k e e p s b e i n g a c t i v e a n d
the valve 2 is open. The gas can now flow and a flame can be produced.
This status is 0.5 seconds shorter that the time set in P64 as the start up safety time is
divided between the statuses 19 and 20!
