Key Function
UP/DOWN Press this button once to swing the horizontal ventilation slots of the
unit up and down. If you press this button again, the swing function
is deactivated and the ventilation slots remain in their respective
positions.
LEFT/RIGHT Press this button once to swing the vertical ventilation slots of the unit
to the left and right. If you press this button again, the swing function
is deactivated and the ventilation slots remain in their respective
positions.
COOL Press this button once to activate the evaporative cooling function.
Pressing this button again will cancel the function.
TIMER Press this button to set the time to automatically turn off. The timer can
be set from 0.5 to 8 hours. Press the button again to deactivate the
function.
LIGHT Press this button once to turn off the screen backlight. Press the button
again to turn the backlight back on.
LOCK Pressing and holding this button locks the unit's buttons and a lock
icon appears on the screen. The On/Off button remains active to
turn off the unit directly. Pressing and holding this button again will
deactivate the parental lock.
