The LCD screen displays "Lo" or "Hi" for 3 seconds
when the temperature measured is outside the
thermometer's sensory range.
•
The mark "Err" appears if the operating tempera-
ture is outside the permissible range 16°C to 35°C
(60.8°F to 95°F).
•
After one minute of idling, the device automatically
switches itself off to conserve battery life.
