1. Consistent low temperature readings
•
Perhaps the lens is not positioned properly. Ensure
the device is being used correctly. (see "To take a
temperature")
•
The Measurement Sensor or Lens may be dirty and
require cleaning. Thoroughly clean the lens with a
piece of soft, alcohol-moistened cotton cloth. (See
"Storage and Cleaning" )
•
Please be aware that the device may record lower re-
adings when the object or patient's forehead is damp,
wet or perspiring.
2. the device cannot operate
•
When battery power is too low, the device will not ope-
rate properly. Replace the batteries as appropriate.
