Vibration total values (vector sum of three directions)
calculated according to EN 60745:
Surface grinding (rough grinding):
Vibration emission level a
2
m/s
.
Vibration values stated in these instructions were
measured in accordance with the standardized method of
measurement according to EN 60745 and they can be
used for the comparison of power tools. The method is
also suitable for a provisional assessment of vibration
load.
The indicated vibration level presents the main intended
use of the power tool. However, if the power tool is used
with a different accessory for other purposes, for ex.
cutting, brushing etc., or if it is insufficiently maintained,
the vibration level can deviate. This can increase vibration
load significantly during certain periods of use.
For an accurate assessment of vibration load during a
defined time period, we should also consider periods
when the power tool was switched off or it was
functioning, but not used. This could significantly reduce
data on vibration load during the entire time of work.
Define additional safety precautions to protect the tool
user from vibration impact, for ex. maintenance of the
power tool and its accessories, warming of hands,
organization of progress of work.
Soft start of the grinder
Soft start allows the working speed to be reached without
provoking a reacting torque on starting the machine, and
the maximum speed is achieved after two seconds. You
can start working after that time.
At short high overloading or long low overloading of the
tool, the built in overload protection electronics limits the
tool's operation, which turns very slowly when the load is
removed or it stops, if it is loaded again.
By switching it off and repeating the starting
procedure the tool will work normally.
Frequent operation of overload protection signifies that
the tool is excessively overloaded and the motor can be
damaged or its service life will be shortened. Besides,
excessive overloading will not improve either the speed or
the quality of the work.
We recommend you not to overload the tool in order the
overload protection will not switch off the tool; this way you
will protect the tool and the tool's performance will be
higher as grinding discs will be less worn out. We advise
you to cool down the tool under no load for at least
one minute in case of several successive limiting
functions.

PREPARING THE TOOL FOR WORK
Always disconnect the plug from power
source before making any adjustments or
changing any accessory!
Mounting of the front handle - Figure 3
Place the front handle
(depending on work) and tighten the screws
handle
can be staged at 30 °, adjust to work.
! The screws must be properly tightened. Any over-
tightening can cause damage.
Assembly/ disassembly accessories - Figure 1
• Install the flange ⑦. Install the adjustment washers ⑧
and grinding disc ⑨. With the washers ⑧ set the
appropriate position of disk that must be aligned with
the height of the rubber seal ⑥ (to -1 mm), Figure 2.
You should always use all three washers.
• Install flange nut ⑩ and tighten it.
• Arrest shaft with a knob ③ and tighten the nut with
wrench ⑯. Tighten the nut ⑩.
! All washers have to be inserted on the flange. If not,
grinding wheel can not be fixed.
! Flange nut must be properly tightened. Over-tightening
can cause damage.
! During operation, never press the spindle lock button ③.
! Before use of the tool be sure that rotation of the tool is
.unrestricted.
! During operation the grinding wheel ⑨ warms itself. Do
not touch it before it cools down.
