Using the design mode

The design template helps you to retain a previously determined picture background, for in-
stance, if you hand over the camera to another person to create the final photo.
 In the shooting mode, select the
 Now choose your preferred background subject.
Then press the shutter release (press down com-
pletely).
 The camera stores this picture to its internal mem-
ory. A semi-transparent image strip of the back-
ground appears in the display.
 Press the MENU button to discard the semi-trans-
parent image.
 If you now, for example, ask another person to take
a picture of you in front of this background, then
he or she can align the camera to match the image
strip so that the exact picture section is recorded
that you previously selected.
 Press the shutter release again. The camera stores
the picture that was taken in the last step. The pic-
ture in the internal memory is deleted.
