Tips for better coffee
•
Clean the coffee machine after each use.
•
When preparing coffee, always make sure that the glass coffee pot is clean. Residues
in the coffee pot can spoil the flavour of the coffee.
•
Always use fresh, cold water.
•
Store coffee grounds in a cool, dry place. After opening a packet, close it again and
store it in the refrigerator to preserve its aroma.
•
For optimum taste, buy coffee beans and ground them shortly before brewing.
•
Do not reuse coffee grounds. Coffee should not be reheated as the aroma is at its best
shortly after brewing.
•
Clean the coffee machine if you find droplets of oil in the coffee. These oil droplets
come from the coffee and are found more frequently with heavily roasted coffee.
Adjusting the aroma
Use the aroma setting to adjust the flavour of the brewing coffee to your liking.
Tips for use
•
The brewing process can be interrupted or stopped at any
time by switching the On / Off switch to 0 which turns the
machine off.
•
Only place the glass coffee pot on the hot plate after the filter
holder has been inserted and the cover has been closed.
•
While the coffee is brewing, you can temporarily remove the
coffee pot from the machine as the coffee machine is equipped
with a drip-stop system. The coffee pot should be slid back
into the machine within 30 seconds.
•
Only hold the coffee pot by its handle.
Never touch the hot plate while the appliance is in use - danger of burns!
•
Unplug the appliance after each use.
