RECESSED CHUL BOX WITH CLOSURE PANEL AND FRAME

The package contains: the recessed box, the front closure panel and all the parts necessary to assemble them.
The recessed CHUL box is made of galvanised steel sheets, and all the holes needed to mount a specific Omnia
UL P unit (version 1) are already drilled in its back side. There is also a pre-cut square for any water connections
that may be required.
This side is also ready to house a power socket with fuse carrier (the following Gewiss products have been used
for this pre-installation. Their codes are: container: GW 27 003; fuse carrier: GW 20 401; Italian/German socket: GW
20 246).
The sides have a provision for lateral hydraulic devices and for the electrical connections. The upper surface has
a slope, to direct air towards the room to be conditioned. The bottom side features two openings of suitable size
to thread pipes and electric cables.
The recessed box shaped rim has a special lip where to apply the plaster.At the bottom, this rim forms a referen-
ce that can be taken as a threshold. Upon building the niche to house the system, two clamps at the box base,
their covering feet, two non-deforming bars and the external frame are assembled to the CHUL accessory.
The front closure panel can be assembled quickly and easily: just rest it against the appropriate supports to ensu-
re safe coupling.
The front closure panel and the visible parts of the recessed box are treated so that they can be painted with the
same paint used for the wall where the unit is mounted.
When at the design or building phase, pay special attention to the position the recessed CHUL box will have. It
should be perfectly level, with the concave section facing the room to be conditioned and, specially, the plaster
thickness, the final height from the ground and the presence of skirting should be also taken into consideration.
Insert a panel of building insulating material (not supplied) between the back of the box and the wall. The CHUL
box has to be fixed using building material.
Use H05V-K or N07V-K cables, with 300/500 V insulation, piped or ducted, for the electrical system that will
power the Omnia UL P (version 1) fan coil. These cables should never come into contact with the box metal
sheets. An electrical connection is supplied to earth the CHUL box.
The ventilcassaforma system is available in 4 different sizes corresponding with the different models of Omnia UL P (version
1) fan coils.
Packaging
The CHUL box is delivered in a single rigid package (cardboard box).
Packaging must not be disposed of carelessly but collected and sent to the specific collection centre.
