Note!
The SATAminijet has no tapered
dowel pin for aligning the air cap.
■ Screw the fluid tip [5-8] in using the
SATA universal spanner.
■ Position the air cap ring [5-10]
together with the air cap [5-9] and
screw on by hand. Heed the correct
nozzle setting and check that the
notches in the air cap are aligned with
the tapered dowel pin [6-1] (not in the
SATAminijet).
■ Insert the paint needle [5-7].
■ Position both springs [5-5], [5-6].
■ Screw on the end cap [5-4].
■ Position the spring [5-3].
■ Insert the washer [5-2] in the regulat-
ing cap [5-1].
■ Screw on the regulating cap.
■ Readjust the parameters for material
flow using the scales (see chapter
9.2).
10.2. Replacing the air distri-
bution ring
Replacing the air distribution ring
must be preceded and followed by
the steps required for replacing the
nozzle set (see chapter 10.1).

Dismantle the air distribution ring
The air distribution ring is fitted
firmly in the nozzle head, which
can be damaged if excessive
force is used. Injuries can be
caused if the SATA extraction
tool slips during use.
→ Wear protective gloves.
→ Always use the SATA extrac-
tion tool pointing away from your
body.
→ Pull the air distribution ring
evenly out of the nozzle head.
■ Perform the steps to remove the
nozzle set (see chapter 10.1).
■ Remove the air distribution ring [7-1]
using the SATA extraction tool [7-2].
■ Check sealing surfaces for dam-
age and soiling, clean or replace if
necessary.
Fit new air distribution ring
■ Insert the air distribution ring [8-3] in
the nozzle head [8-2]. The pin on the
bottom of the air distribution ring must
be aligned accordingly [8-1].
■ Press the air distribution ring in
evenly.
■ Perform the steps to fit the new noz-
zle set (see chapter 10.1).
