Input and Output Buffers

The input and output buffers are in common among the three
controller families. Some parameters are not available in some
family. The user must refer to the specific controller instruction
manual to know witch parameters are available on his controller.
In the input buffer, unsupported parameters are reported with "0"
value in the input buffer.
If the user changes one unsupported parameter in the output buffer,
an appropriate error code (0xF) is reported in the diagnosis nibble
corresponding to that parameter (see diagnostics).
