SETTINGS
Analog Gain 1 – 3:
This is used to set the input sensitivity of the analog inputs in three
steps: "Low", "Medium", "High". The input sensitivity is (with reference
to 5 V output voltage at the balanced outputs): Low = 2.5 V = 0 dB gain,
Medium = 1.25 V = 6 dB gain, High = 0.625 V = 12 dB gain.
Caution: Too much gain may result in distortions. In general the
volume level of the analog inputs should be adapted to that of the
digital sources, not higher!
Phono Gain:
The phono preamp is designed for MM systems and offers 46 dBs
of gain. Here, too, the gain may be further increased, e.g. for using
a high-output MC pickup.
Display Brightness:
The brightness of the display is adjustable in 4 steps: "Off" – "Low"
– "Medium" – "High". In the "Off" position the display will light up
for about 10 seconds with every actuation and then fall back into
the off state.
