By dual assignment of the pins, the USB Type-C plug can be plugged into the port on
both sides.
HARDWARE INSTALLATION
Because there are large differences between PC's, we can give you only a general installation
guide for the EX-1195HMS. Please refer your computer's reference manual whenever in doubt.
1. Install the EX-1195HMS to the wall or to a Din-Rail if required.

2. Connect the USB cable to the USB C-Port at the Hub.
3. Connect the optional power supply to the Terminal Block to the Hub.
4. Now connect the other end from the USB cable (A-Plug) to the A-Port at your PC.

DRIVER INSTALLATION

After the hardware installation, the operating system will recognize the device automatically and
install the drivers.

Never plug in with
Open the >Device manager<. Now you should see at „USB-Controller" the following new entry:

CLEANING
For cleaning please use only a dry fluff less cloth and remove the dirt with gently pressure. In
the area of the connectors please make sure that no fibres from the cloth remain in the connect-
ors. Attention! Never use a moist or wet cloth for cleaning!

Die EX-1195HMS ist ein USB 3.0/3.1(Gen1) HUB für bis zu 4 Endgeräte mit 15KV ESD Über-
spannungs-Schutz. Der Hub ist mit drei USB 3.0/3.1(Gen1) A-Buchsen sowie eine USB 3.0/3.1
(Gen1) C-Buchse für Endgeräte und eine USB 3.0/3.1(Gen1) C-Buchse für den Anschluss an
den PC ausgestattet. Die EX-1195HMS unterstützt alle USB Anschlüsse von 2.0, 3.0 & 3.1.
Über die externe Stromversorgung per Netzteil können an jedem Port 900mA zur Verfügung
gestellt werden. Die EX-1195HMS gewährleistet so eine sichere Datenübertragung und exzel-
lente Performance von bis zu 5Gbit pro Sekunde! Die EX-1195HMS unterstützt den Self Power
und Bus Power Modus. Zusätzlich ist die EX-1195HMS mit einem USB Power Überspannungs-
schutz ausgestattet. Die EX-1195HMS kann an die Wand oder mit dem Din-Rail-Kit auf eine
Trägerschiene in einem 19" Rack installiert werden.
