Mounting the new cable on probe

Installation of cable on probe:
1 Slip the adapter disc over the cable and fasten it
handtight on the cable gland.
2 Yellow wire:
•
Fasten the ring terminal together with the green/
yellow wire and spring ring on the circlip ring.
•
Pinch off the ring terminal and insolate the end of
wire with a shrinking hose.
• FTI5x with active build up compensation
Pinch off the ring terminal and dismantle the end

of wire. Solder it to the red probe wire"guard" and
insulate it with shrinking hose.

3 Green/yellow wire:
Fasten the ring terminal with a spring washer at
the circlip ring and insert the circlip ring into the
groove of probe head.
4 Red wire:
Slide the ring terminal over the thread of bunch plug
and fasten it with a hexagon nut M4.
Press the bunch plug into the adapter of probe head

using a bent flat pliers.
5 Mount the adapter disc with cable gland onto the

probe head.
ATTENTION:
YE
Turn the adapter disc approximately 3 - 4 turns

counter clockwise afterwards mount it onto the
probe head (torque 6.25 Nm).
