Replacing the cable on
The instrument may only be repaired and maintained by qualified personnel. The instrument documentation, applicable

Modular assemblies may only be exchanged against identical original Endress+Hauser spare parts !
It must be ensured that the supply voltage has been disconnected from the instrument before disassembly.

The repair must be performed such that the voltage resistance of the Ex ia circuits relative to ground potential
is maintained. If required, a test can be performed with 500 Veff for 60 seconds.
The threads in the housing and on the lid must be checked.
In case of damage, the faulty part must be exchanged.

The following tools are required:
• Screwdriver M3, M5
• Philips screwdriver, size 1
• Torque wrench F15, F16 = 0.5 Nm
• Circlip pliers for internal/external holding ring
• Wrench AF22 mm, AF32 mm and depending
• Bent flat pliers
• FTI55/56 or FTI5x with active built up comp.

F13, F17, T13 = 1.0 Nm
on process connction AF41/50/55 mm
side cutting pliers, cable stripper, soldering iron,
hot air blower
Unscrew cover,
if mounted loosen the safety clamp first.
Remove electronic insert:
• Disconnect cables.
• Unsrew the two holding screws.
• Press the electronic insert out of the
housing using a screwdriver M5.
Disconnect the PE wire from the circlip ring.
Loosen the fastening screw.
Take off the circlip ring from the sensor
adapter using the circlip pliers and take out
the mounting kit, (disc only for housing F16).
Remove the sensor adapter from housing,
• for housing F15, F16, F17:
pull down sensor adapter out of the
housing.
• for housing F13:
unscrew sensor adapter from housing
(approx. 12 turns).
