WARNING

1. Remove all packaging before using the appliance.
2. If the toaster starts to smoke, turn the power off immediately by pressing the
Cancel button.
3. Avoid spreading foods with very liquid ingredients, for example butter.
4. Do not try to remove bread stuck in the slots without first unplugging the toaster
from the mains socket. When you remove the bread, take care not to damage the
internal mechanism or the heating elements.
5. The toaster slots can only accept regular sized slices. Irregularly sized bread or
round shaped bread may not be toasted on the toasting rack.
6. To obtain a uniform colour, we recommend that you wait for at least 30 seconds
between each toasting, so that the browning control automatically resets.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Unplug the appliance and wait until it has
cooled down completely before cleaning it.
2. Wipe the outside of the appliance with a soft,
dry cloth. Never use metal polish.
3. Remove the crumb tray from underneath the
toaster and empty it. If you use your toaster a
lot, empty the crumb tray at least once a week.
Be sure to replace the crumb tray fully before
reusing the toaster.
4. When the toaster is not being used and does
not need to be stored away, you can wrap the
power cord underneath.

DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES

The European directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household electrical appliances must
not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal waste stream.
Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery
and recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on human
health and the environment.
The crossed out "wheeled bin" symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation,
that when you dispose of the appliance, it must be separately collected.
Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning
the correct disposal of their old appliance.
