CHILD CAR SEAT TO THE CAR WITH A
3-POINT SEAT BELT
WARNING! Before fitting the child car seat
and seating your child, remove the car seat's
integrated 5-point belts making reference to
paragraph 12. REMOVING 5-POINT SEAT BELTS
Position the child car seat on the selected seat.
WARNING! Make sure there are no objects
between the child car seat and the vehicle
seat or between the child car seat and car
door.
WARNING! The back of the child car seat
must closely adhere to the car seat.
Adjust the headrest to the highest posi-
tion (refer to paragraph 10. ADJUSTING THE
HEIGHT OF THE BELTS AND THE HEADREST)
Place the child in the seat with their back lean-
ing against the backrest.
Insert the diagonal portion of the car seat belt
in the red diagonal belt guide integrated in
the headrest (B) (Fig. 34).
Pass the abdominal part through the red belt
guide on the seat on the side of the retractor
(Fig. 35). Continue to fit the seat by inserting the
diagonal and abdominal part of the belt in the
red belt guide, on the side of the buckle, fasten-
ing the belt until you hear a CLICK (Fig. 36)
Adjust the height of the headrest so that the
red diagonal belt guide (B) is above the child's
shoulders at a maximum distance of 2 cm (fig.
37).
Pull the diagonal part of the belt upwards (Fig.
38) so the entire belt is taut and fits closely
over the child's legs and chest without being
too tight!
WARNING! Check that the car seat belt ad-
juster is reclined or at least aligned with the
car seat backrest (Fig. 39).
WARNING! In case of use in vehicles equip-
ped with rear seat belts with integrated ai-
rbags (inflatable belts) follow the vehicle ma-
nufacturer's instructions.
9. CHICCO BEBÈCARE
Chicco BebèCare was designed and develo-
ped to signal the presence of the baby in the
car seat and to notify the user when acciden-
tally moving away from the car without the
baby, thanks to the presence of sensors inte-
grated in the car seat.
Chicco BebèCare was designed and deve-
loped for use only with minors with a total
weight starting from 4 kg.
DISCLAIMER
• The use of this equipment does not replace
in any manner the responsibility and/or su-
pervision of the vehicle driver (and/or its oc-
cupants). Chicco BebèCare represents only a
support tool: Never leave the child unatten-
ded in the car.
• Artsana cannot be held liable in any man-
ner in the case of damaging events and/or
consequences (also related to the incorrect
operation of the electronic equipment) of
any type, as Chicco BebèCare is solely inten-
ded to be an aid and alarm to prevent events
and/or consequences caused by forgetful-

SAFETY WARNINGS

• For the correct use of the car seat, please
refer to the instructions included in this
manual.
• The sensors are built into the seat section.
• Chicco BebèCare functions only if the fabric
lining of the car seat adheres perfectly to the
body of the car seat.
• Chicco BebèCare only works if the layer
between the sensor and the cover remains
in its original position.
• After cleaning the fabric lining (CLEANING
THE FABRIC LINING), check that Chicco
BebèCare is functioning correctly.
• When performing cleaning or maintenance
operations, do not move and/or remove the
layer between the sensor and the cover.
• When cleaning/servicing the car seat, do not
