RESPONSIBILITY
The company C.A.M.P. spa, or the distributor, will not accept any responsibility for damage, injury or death resulting from
misuse of or from modifications to a CAMP Safety branded product. It is the user's responsibility at all times to ensure that
he/she understands the correct and safe use of any equipment supplied by or from C.A.M.P. spa, that he/she uses it only
for the purposes for which it is designed and that he/she practices all proper safety procedures. Before using the
equipment, take all necessary steps to familiarise yourself with rescue techniques should an emergency occur. You
personally assume all the risks and responsibilities for your actions and decisions: if you are not able or not in a position to
assume these, do not use this equipment.
3 YEAR WARRANTY
This product is warranted against any faults in materials or manufacture for 3 years from the purchase date. Limitations of
warranty include: normal wear and tear, modifications or alterations, incorrect storage, corrosion, damage due to
accidents or negligence, use for which this product is not specifically designed.
SUMMARY
CAMP Giant is:
Ÿ a descender of the working line certified in accordance with standard EN 12841:2006 type C;
Ÿ an ascender of the working line certified in accordance with standard EN 12841:2006 type B;
Ÿ a fall arrester for the safety line certified in accordance with standard EN 12841:2006 type A;
Ÿ a descender used for rescue and evacuation certified in accordance with standard EN 341:2011 type 2A;
Ÿ a belaying and rappelling device for climbing and connected activities in compliance with standard EN 15151-
1:2012: braking device with manually assisted locking.Type 8, equipped with anti-panic locking device.
Ÿ a descender used for rescue and evacuation tested in accordance with U.S. standard ANSI/ASSE Z359.4-2013.

Giant must be used solely and exclusively in combination with the following ropes (fig.1):
Ÿ EN 12841A/B/C use: semi-static ropes EN 1891/A with diameter from 10 to 11.5 mm;
Ÿ EN 341/2A use: semi-static rope EN 1891/A type CAMP Safety Iridium 10.5 mm art.2810A;
Ÿ EN 15151-1 use: dynamic single rope EN 892 with diameter from 9.9 to 11 mm;
Ÿ ANSI/ASSE Z359.4 use: semi-static rope EN 1891/A type CAMP Safety Iridium 11 mm art.2811A;
