The following list includes the frequently used terms used in Radio location tracking:
Radio location tracking
Radio location tracking is a method that relies on signal transmission concept to
find a target. A receiver is used to pick up the transmission signal and indicate the
signal in an audible beeping sound or in the LED light. The strongest signal allows
you to identify the direction to find the transmitter.
Bearing signal
The direction which the signal is coming from.
Gain
Gain is a measurement of how sensitive your receiver is or how much of the signal
your receiver picks up.
Line-of-sight
A situation where there are absolutely no obstructions between the receiver and
transmitter.
Receiver
A device that receives a radio frequency.
Transmitter
A device that transmits a radio frequency to be picked up by a receiver.
