Ozone generator

4. OPERATION

During operation all national and international regulatory standards regarding
workplace safety and accident protection must be observed with no exceptions.

Place the ozone generator in the room on an even surface, closest to the strongest odour
source.

In a vehicle, place the device in the leg space, change the passenger filter, set the air vent
system to inner circulation so that the airflow is directed at the windshield or upwards, turn on
the A/C.

Set the output of the ozone generator to 7g/h (figure 1. - 6.)

Turn the 0/1 switch on (figure 1. - 4.), the set the necessary operation time using the time
delay switch (figure 1. - 2.).

The ozone generator can operate in 15-30 minute intervals, then a rest period of 1-2 hours
must be observed.

The KL-7 ozone generator can also be used for ionization in 50m
of max. 2,8m. This function can be activated with the ionization switch (figure 1. - 5.) and
increases the effectivity of the ozone by 30%.

The ionizer is a device which ionizes the air through electric discharges, increasing the
amount of negative ions in the air. This has a positive effect on breathing (improving blood
oxygen level) and the human psyche (better psychological energy, better mood).However, the
ionizer does not neutralize bacteria, mould or viruses.

Connect the power supply cable to the socket.

Note: Check the power supply voltage (230V / 50Hz).

5. MAINTENANCE, DISPOSAL

The ozone generator requires regular maintenance. Performance of maintenance recommended by
the manufacturer contributes to the reliable and safe operation of the ozone generator. The following
examinations may only be performed by an authorized electrician.
1. Check the following via visual inspection:

The outer housing and handle parts are undamaged.

The power cable socket is undamaged (cracks, burnt, deformed contacts).

The power cable ground wire is undamaged (correct insulation of the device).

The electrical wires and connections are undamaged.
2. Check the ground wire (protective earth, PE):

Check that the wire (protective earth, PE) is connected correctly and properly.

Check the power supply cable for short-circuit, breaks.
3. Measurements:
1. When turned off, measure the insulation resistance of the device and the power supply cable.
Perform the examination with a 500V continuous voltage (from 500V megaohmmeter). The
insulation resistance values should not be lower than:

