1. GENERAL INFORMATION

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Safety precautions
o
The machine can only be operated by a person over 18 years of age, qualified for the
described work and acquainted with the environment safety procedures.
o
The operator has to prove their eligibility to handle the equipment with a health certificate
(pl. Pace-Maker).
Meaning of symbols used in the manual
Warning! This symbol warns of danger of bodily harm or machine and/or material
damage
Caution! The machine used is operated by electricity! Danger of electric shock!
General guidance
o
Make sure you are familiar with the machine and its use. Make sure to know all dangers
originating from the improper use of the machine
o
Make sure that if another person is using the machine, they are familiar with the safe operation of
the machine and all dangers originating from the improper use.
o
Always observe the warnings on the safety labels. Never damage or remove the labels. If the label
becomes unreadable or damaged, contact the distributor.
o
Keep the working area clean.
o
Never perform work in narrow or badly lighted areas. Make sure the floor is stable and that work
can be performed comfortably.
o
Keep the machine clean.
o
Keep the handles free of grease and dirt.
o
Make sure children, unauthorised persons and animals do not enter the shop.
o
Never place your hands or feet inside the work area.
o
Never leave the machine unsupervised while operating.
o
Use the machine only for activities, for which it was designed.
o
Wear protective clothing: safety goggles, ear protectors, respirator, protective footwear, etc.
o
Do not reach out far and use both hands.
o
Never perform work while under influence of alcohol or any other drugs. Do not use the machine if
feeling dizzy or faint
o
It is strictly forbidden to perform any unauthorised changes or modifications on the machine. DO
NOT USE THE MACHINE if you find any cracks or damage on it.
o
Do not perform maintenance on an operating machine.
o
If experiencing any unusual readouts, signs or noises, stop working immediately.
o
Before use, make sure all screws are securely tightened.
o
Perform proper maintenance regularly. Before use, make sure that the machine is in an adequate
condition for safe operation and is undamaged.
o
Use only original parts for repairs. Using non-original or unauthorised parts can lead to bodily
harm of the operating personnel.
o
Use the tools only within their capacity. Do not overload the machine and its accessories. Do not
perform heavy work with a small power machine. Avoid overload. Measure out the work, so that it
can be performed comfortably
o
Protect the machine from excessively high temperatures and direct sunlight.
o
The machine is not suitable for work in a humid environment or under water.
o
When not in use, keep the machine in a dry place to avoid corrosion. If the machine is not used for
a prolonged period of time, disconnect the power source.
