TROUBLESHOOTING
Some common problems listed below, together with their possible solutions, can arise when using the mask:
The filter does not darken or is unstable when switching from light to dark and viceversa.
Possible solution.
-
The external transparent protection of the filter is dirty or damaged (change the external transparent protection).
-
The sensors are dirty (clean the sensor surface).
-
The level of the welding current level is too low for the "shade 9-13" protection level of this mask (replace the mask with another one having a suitable
filter)
Slow switching.
The operating temperature is too low (do not use at temperatures of below -5°C (+23°F).
Poor visibility.
-
The external or/and internal protection of the filter is/are dirty or damaged (clean the dirty components and replace the damaged ones).
-
Not enough light in the surrounding area (add more light to the surrounding area)
-
The welding current intensity is too low for the "shade 9-13" level of this mask (replace the mask with another one fitted with a suitable filter)
ATTENTION!
If the described malfunctions cannot be solved, stop using the mask immediately and contact the nearest distributor.

CLEANING AND DISINFECTING

Only use soap and water or products that do not contain solvents to clean and disinfect the mask. Using chemical solvents ruins the aesthetics of the
mask and can dramatically reduce its integrity.
Taking good general care of the mask reduces its obsolescence to a minimum, both from a use and a mask component point of view.
Regularly clean the filter surface with a soft cloth and a non-aggressive cleaning solution, for example one for cleaning glass (do not pour the product
directly onto the filter).
Get into the habit of making sure that the solar cells and the sensors have not darkened or are not covered in dirt. If they have or if they are, clean them
with a soft paper tissue, if necessary slightly dampened with a preparation for cleaning glass (do not pour the product directly onto the filter).
ASSEMBLY
Assemble as shown in the drawing (Fig. A).
INFORMATION ON THE MARKING
The marking in the inner lower front section of the TWLX mask is made up of a series of symbols with the following meaning:
Identification code
Standard number that was referred to for requesting certification
CE marking
Mechanical strength, low energy impact
The marking given on the upper front section of the model TW350S filter is made up of a series of symbols with the following meaning:
Light shade number
Lightest dark scale number
Darkest scale number
Identification code
Optic class
Light diffusion class
Light transmission factor variation class
Light transmission factor angular dependence
Standard number that was referred for requesting certification
CE marking
The marking given in the upper-front section of the model TW350F filter is made up of a series of symbols with the following meaning:
Light shade number
Dark scale number
Identification code
Optic class
Light diffusion class
Light transmission factor variation class
Light transmission factor angular dependence
Standard number that was referred to for requesting certification

The certification procedure for the TWLX mask indicated in Art. 10 of the 89/686/EEC Directive was carried out by DIN CERTO Gesellschaft für
Konformitätsbewertung mbH, Alboinstraße 56 D-12103 Berlin, being a notified body of the European Commission (identification code 0196).
