06. Storage/transport

• Transport and store the fan only in its original packaging.
• Storage temperature: –40˚C to +60˚C.
• Avoid impacts and unnecessary loads to packaging and/or fan.
• In case the packaging is damaged check for damages on the fan.

07. Start-up

Before connecting the fan to mains power supply be sure that the specifications on the production
label match the local voltage and frequency. Make sure that the fan controller is suitable for the fan
or that the fan is suitable for the controller.
CAUTION: If the fan is provided with a cable and the production label
states AAxx, wiring diagram I of FIG. VII applies.
CAUTION: If the fan is provided with a cable and the production label
states ABxx or ACxx, wiring diagram II of FIG. VII applies.
To change the direction of rotation for single phase fans the brown and red wires have to be
exchanged.
3-phase fans rotate with a left-rotating field and standard connection in the correct direction.
For Star or Delta consult the production label, see FIG. I, under number 15:
- D = Delta connected for 230V.
- Y = Star connected for 400V.
