• A safety switch at the bottom of the heater automatically shuts off the heater when it is
lifted off the fl oor or tips over. Never block this safety switch!
• Despite the safety switch there is a risk of fi re when the heater tips/falls over!
Furthermore, this could result in personal injury or damage to the product.
• Due to the weight of the heater and the radiating hot air, the heater should never be
placed on valuable fl oor surfaces without adequate protection. This may not only
result in scratch marks or pressure marks, but also in discolorations due to the hot air.
• Never use the heater in vehicles and similar moving objects or spaces; it is only
suitable for use in buildings.
• Unwind the mains cable completely during operation. The power cable must not be
pinched or damaged by contact with sharp edges. Do not place any objects on the
cable, and do not allow it to become kinked. Install the cable where no one can
stumble over it and the plug is easily accessible. Do not install the mains cable under
carpets or the like.
• Do not operate the device in environments where there are high levels of dust,
flammable gases, vapours or solvents. There is a danger of fire and explosion!
