The rope should always be transported such
that it is protected from dirt and suitably packed
(rope bag).
The rope should only be disinfected with
substances that do not have any effect on the
synthetic materials used.
5. WARNING & SAFETY NOTICE
– If you have any doubts as to the safe condition
of the product, it should be replaced
immediately.
– A system that has been exposed to strain in a
fall must be withdrawn from use and
returned to the manufacturer or a specialist
repair workshop for maintenance and inspection
before being used again.
– Snow, ice and humidity can affect the handling
of the rope and its strength.
– High temperatures, sharp edges and chemical
substances (such as acids) must be avoided.
Abseil slowly to avoid excess heat developing.
UV radiation and abrasion have a negative
effect on the rope and its strength.
– Knots in the rope reduce the breaking load
significantly.
