Vorinformation
Dieser UP-Einbaukasten dient zur Abdichtung für den
Einbau der UP-Einhandmischer Wannen- und Brause-
batterie Produkt-Nr. 33 961 und 33 962 in Leichtbauwände
oder Vorwandinstallation.
Installation
Einbauvorschlag
1. Bauseitig eine Einbauplatte mit M8 Gewinde-
schrauben zur Befestigungsaufnahme vorbereiten,
siehe Abb. [1].
2. Einbauplatte in einen bauseitigen Einbaurahmen
montieren, siehe Abb. [2].
3. Gewindehülse (A) muß so montiert werden, daß das
Einbaumaß von der Vorderseite der Abdeckplatte bis
zur Auflagefläche der Gewindehülse (A) 50mm
beträgt, siehe Abb. [3].
4. UP-Einbauschablone (B) von der UP-Wannen-
batterie (C) bzw. UP-Brausebatterie (D) demontieren,
siehe Abb. [4].
5. Verlängerungsstücke (E) bei UP-Batterie (C) bzw. (D)
einschrauben und eindichten.
Bei UP-Brausebatterie (D) muß zusätzlich das Verlän-
gerungsstück (G) eingeschraubt und eingedichtet
werden, siehe Abb. [4].

Introduction
The built-in mounting box serves as a sealing enclosure
for installations of built-in singlelever bath and shower
mixers (part Nos. 33 961 and 33 962) in lightweight
partitions or false walls.
Installation
Suggested procedure
1. Prepare a panel on site, with M8 screws, to serve as a
built-in mounting plate, see Fig. [1].
2. Install the panel in a frame, constructed on site, see
Fig. [2].
3. Install the threaded sleeve (A) so that the distance
from the front of the wall plate to the contact face of
the sleeve (A) is 50mm, see Fig. [3].
4. Remove the fitting template (B) from the built-in bath
mixer (C) or built-in shower mixer (D), see Fig. [4].
5. Screwmount extension sleeves (E) to the mixer (C)
or (D) and seal in.
In the case of the mixer type (D), the extension
sleeve (G) must also be screwmounted and sealed
in, see Fig. [4].
6. Rückwand des UP-Einbaukastens (H) im ausgepräg-
ten Bereich (J) mit einem geeigneten Gegenstand
durchstechen, siehe Abb. [5].
7. UP-Batterie (C) bzw. (D) in den UP-Einbaukasten (H)
montieren, dann auf die Gewindeschrauben (K)
stecken und mit Sechskantmutter M8 (L) befestigen.
UP-Einbauschablone (B) wieder montieren, siehe
Abb. [6].
8. Einhandmischer-Batterie an die Rohrleitungen
anschließen.
Hinweis für den Trockenausbauer und Fliesenleger.
9. Maß X und Y ausmessen, siehe Abb. [7] und auf die
Abdeckplatte übertragen, siehe Abb. [8].
10. Schablone (M) auflegen, anzeichnen und mit einer
Stichsäge die erforderliche Öffnung aussägen, siehe
Abb. [8].
11. Abdeckplatte montieren, hierbei die Gummi-
manschette durch die Öffnung herausziehen,
siehe Abb. [9].
12. Fliesenkleber auf die Abdeckplatte, unter dem
Bereich der Gummimanschette, als Kontaktschicht
auftragen, und die Gummimanschette in die Kontakt-
schicht eindrücken, siehe Abb. [10].
13. Fliesenkleber über die Gummimanschette hinaus
auftragen, siehe Abb. [11] und anschließend die
Wand verfliesen. Hierbei muß darauf geachtet
werden, daß die Fliesen bis an die UP-Einbau-
schablone (B) herangelegt werden, siehe Abb. [12].
6. With a suitable tool, pierce the back of the built-in
mounting box (H) in the designated area (J), see
Fig. [5].
7. Install the mixer (C) or (D) in the mounting box (H),
fitting it over the projecting screws (K), and secure
with M8 nuts (L).
Reinstall the fitting template (B), see Fig. [6].
8. Connect the single-lever mixer to the pipes.
Notes for the carpenter and tiler.
9. Measure intervals X and Y, see Fig. [7], and transfer
measurements to wall plate, see Fig. [8].
10. Place template (M) in position, mark out and cut the
necessary aperture with a keyhole saw, see Fig. [8].
11. Install wall plate, pulling the rubber sleeve out through
the aperture, see Fig. [9].
12. Apply tile cement to wall plate, under the area
occupied by the rubber sleeve, to act as a bonding
coat, then press the rubber sleeve into the cement,
see Fig. [10].
13. Apply tile cement over the rubber sleeve, see
Fig. [11], then tile the wall, taking care to ensure
that the tiles are laid right up to the fitting
template (B), see Fig. [12].
