PRELIMINARY CHECKS
 Place the machine on a stable surface and in a position suitable for the operator.
 Check the oil level and fill or top up if necessary; the oil filler cap is on the upper
side of the tank.
 Make sure that the moving parts are clean and lightly greased (recommended oil
KLUBER STABURAGS NBV30).
 Carry out a feed and return
without problems (it is dangerous to place hands too close to the operative area of
the piston)

ROUTINE MAINTENANCE

 It is essential that any operation on the machine is carried out by qualified and

authorized personnel who are informed on its working process.

 Never perform any cleaning, lubrication or maintenance operation while the machine

is working.

 Before any maintenance operation verify that no pressure is present inside the
circuit, then carry out maintenance.

Make sure that the moving parts are always greased (type of grease suggested
Kluber Staburags NBV 30 ).
 Check the oil level regularly and top up if necessary with "SHELL TELLUS T46" oil
through the oil filler cap placed on the upper side of the tank.
 Every 3000 working hours, change the pump oil.
 First check the state of the connections, the integrity of the pipes, make sure there
are no oil leakages or other anomalies, carry out some dry runs.

Verify daily the wear and tear and readability of the warning signs.
 Promptly eliminate dust, water or dirt deposits as they could alter the good running
and the life of the system.
 In case of incorrect working of the pump, dismantle it and replace with a new one.
We recommend you contact the manufacturer for repairs.

PREPARING THE MACHINE

FOR PREFITTING RINGS ON DIN 2353 COUPLINGS:
Once the diameter of the pipe to be used has been decided, follow the instructions
carefully:
 Take the bush corresponding to the diameter of the pipe and the type of coupling
(heavy or lightweight series) and fit it onto the rod of the piston (fig. 1, item 2). All
bushes are marked with the corresponding pipe diameter
 FIT THE BUSH ON THE ROD KEEPING IT CLEAN AND GREASED
(RECOMMENDED TYPE OF GREASE KLUBER STABURAGS NBV30).
 Lock the bush on the rod, fitting the safety pin provided into its seat (fig.1, item 3).
