1. Tail blade
2. On / Off
3. Base
4. Main propeller
5. Stabiliser
2. Remote control
1. Acceleration
2. Direction: forwards, backwards, left, right
3. Left/right adjuster
4. Switch on
5. Direction: up, down
6. Indicator light
7. Antenna
3. AC/DC adaptor
4. Before you start:
- Insert the antenna into the control.
- Insert batteries into the control: 4xAA
- Connect the battery cable to the helicopter. When the indicator
turns off this means the battery is running low and needs
recharging.
This helicopter is designed for flying outdoors only. Ensure you
have a space of about 5 metres in radius around you, free from
obstacles, animals or people, as shown in the diagram. For
optimum flight, it is important to:
- Start from a flat surface.
- Stay clear of obstacles.
- Avoid windy conditions.
- Keep your eyes on the helicopter at all times.
- Do not allow children to fly the helicopter without adult
supervision.
- Ensure that no other helicopter is using the same frequency.
5. Switch on
5.1. Move the control downwards before switching it on.
5.2. Switch on the control by moving the button to the "ON"
position.
5.3. The red light will come on.
5.4. Switch on the helicopter by moving the button on the side to
the "ON" position.
6. First steps
6.1. Extend the antenna.
6.2. Switch the helicopter on.
6.3. Place the helicopter on the ground or on a flat surface, with the
tail pointing towards you. Separate the propellers so prevent
them from sticking together.
6.4. Move the control to the lowest position and then move it fully
from front to back. The controller will then connect to the
helicopter and the LED light will remain on.
7. How to make it fly
6.1. Move the left lever slowly forwards. The propellers will start to
spin round.
6.2. When the lever is past the halfway mark, the helicopter will lift
off the ground.
6.3. To make it go higher, push the lever all the way forward. To
make it come down, pull it backwards.
8. How to steer:
Use the right lever to:
- Turn the helicopter towards the left: move it to the left.
- Turn the helicopter towards the right: move it to the right.
- Fly forwards: move it forwards.
- Fly backwards: move it backwards.
9. How to land
Move the left lever backwards.
10. How to stabilise the flight
10.1. The dial shown in the diagram can be used to adjust the flight
of the helicopter and prevent it from turning unexpectedly.
10.2. If the helicopter turns to the right, keep it at a height of 0.5-1m
and turn the dial to the left.
10.3. If it turns to the left, keep it at a height of 0.5-1m and turn the
dial to the right.
Once you have adjusted the flight with this dial, you can also
use the right control to correct the direction and any
unexpected turns.
11. Charging
- Make sure the helicopter is switched off.
- Plug the adapter into the mains.
- Connect the charge cable to the helicopter without forcing it.
- When it is fully charged, unplug the AC/DC adapter and the cable
from the helicopter.
- Leave the battery to cool for 5 minutes before flying the
helicopter.
- Leave the battery to cool for 10 minutes after flying and before
charging.
