6.10 Frost alarm
Note
The frost alarm is automatically enabled when the
temperature alarm is enabled.
• If the outdoor temperature is measured to be within the
range of –1 to 3 °C, the ice symbol (A3) is shown in the
display.
6.11 Charging function
Warning – Connecting terminal devices
• Before connecting a terminal device, check whether
the power output of the charger can supply sufficient
power for the device.
• Ensure that the power of the connected terminal device
does not exceed 5 W.
• Please refer to the operating instructions for your
terminal device.
Note
The charging function is only possible when plugged into
mains power.
• Connect your terminal device to the USB charging socket
of the weather station (B11) using a suitable USB cable.
• The charging progress is displayed on your terminal
device.
• Disconnect the terminal device from the USB charging
socket if you want to interrupt charging or if the terminal
device is fully charged.
6.12 Backlight
• Press the " / " button (B1) to light up the display.
• During battery operation, the display is illuminated for
approximately 15 seconds.
Note – Permanent backlight
Permanent backlight mode is only possible when the
base station is plugged into mains power.
7. Care and Maintenance
• Only clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free
cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
• Make sure that water does not get into the product.
Note
Disconnect the device from the power supply before
cleaning it or if it is not going to be used for a long
period of time.
