MAINTENANCE
FILTER CLEANING
The dehumidifier is fitted with a reusable anti-dust
filter.
The filter must be cleaned regularly (at least every
two weeks, and before a long period of non-use
of the unit).
If the filter is very dirty, clean it more often.
Do not operate the dehumidifier without the filter.
Cleaning:
1. Switch off the dehumidifier and disconnect the
plug;
2. remove the filter;
3. Clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner; if it is very dirty, wash it with warm water and neutral soap, then dry it.
4. put the filter back in place.
IF THE DEHUMIDIFIER IS NOT TO BE USED FOR A LONG TIME
If you do not intend to use the dehumidifier for a long time, before putting it away you must:
1. disconnect the plug;
2. completely drain the water from the dehumidifier, emptying the tank and drying any remaining water residue with
a cloth;
3. replace the tank;
4. remove the filter and clean it with a vacuum cleaner; if it is very dirty, wash it with warm water and neutral soap,
then dry it;
5. put the filter back in place;
6. protect the dehumidifier from dust with a suitable covering, and put it in a dry, cool place.

IMPORTANT SAFETY RULES

WARNING: BEFORE CARRYING OUT ANY OPERATION
- ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE PLUG
- EMPTY THE CONDENSATE COLLECTION TANK.
Never use the dehumidifier outside.
IF THE DEHUMIDIFIER IS USED IN THE BATHROOM, MAKE
SURE THAT WATER DOES NOT ENTER THE UPPER DEFLECTOR
OF THE DEVICE.
Do not cover the grille, and ensure that no object can obstruct
the air flow.
The device must not be connected to a multiple plug.
Do not pull the electric cable in order to remove the plug.
Do not disassemble or try to repair the dehumidifier; these
operations must only be carried out by an authorised After Sales
Service centre.
After turning the device off, always wait at least 3÷5 minutes
before turning it back on.
After removing the device, leave it off for at least one hour
before turning it on.
This dehumidifier can only be used for domestic uses (homes,
offices, shops): any other use must be considered improper.
Do not use the machine in the case of malfunctioning or if it
appears damaged: disconnect the plug and contact an authorised
After Sales Service centre.

IF THE DEHUMIDIFIER DOES NOT WORK:

If the dehumidifier does not work, before contacting the After Sales Service centre, it is as well to check that:
1. the plug is correctly connected to the socket-outlet;
2. The main switch is activated;
3. The red indicator light showing "Tank full" is not lit up;
4. The condensate collection tank is well inserted;
5. the air filter is not too dirty, or obstructed.
If the unit still does not function, disconnect the plug and contact the After Sales Service for assistance.
