1 Measurement range and inaccuracy depend on how well
the laser beam is reflected from the target (scattered radiation
causes interference) and target reflecting capacity. Using
a special reflecting screen will help to increase the working range
and accuracy of measurements.
2 Under favorable conditions accuracy can be ±1.5mm (2 δ),
and deviation of ±0.25mm/m must be taken into account at
distances more than ten meters.
Unfavorable conditions, such as bright sunlight, rough surface
of target, very short measuring distance, weak or too strong
reflected signal, may cause deviations over ±10mm.
