carefully before starting to use the device.
WARNING!
This device is a laser light source. Unintended use of distance
meter, improper operation and wrong settings, different
from those indicated in the present manual, may lead to the
influence of laser emission on the user or other people.
It is prohibited to look at the laser beam directly!
Never point laser beam at people!
It is forbidden to point laser beam at any moving objects:
planes, automobiles, etc.
DESCRIPTION
Laser distance meter Kompakt 70 GROSS uses semi-
conducting laser L.E.D. with wave length 650 N*m. Laser
power does not exceed 1.0mW. The distance meter passed the
electromagnetic compatibility test in compliance with EN61000-
6-3:2001+A11:2004, EN 61000-6-1:2001, EN 61000-4-2, EN
61000-4-3, EN 60825, testing according to Part 15 of US Federal
Communications Commission Regulations.
BATTERY CHANGING
•
The device is powered by 2 x AAA batteries.
•
Battery status will be shown on the initial screen
•
If battery icon gleams continuously it means that batteries
have already sustained 1,000 measurements
•
Low power icon will be flashing when battery is low
•
For replacing batteries, remove the back cover and,
respecting polarities, mount new batteries. Then close the back
cover.
