7. Panel Keys
Locking the Panel
T o prevent unwanted operation of the panel keys , you c an loc k the front panel.
1. P res s and hold the Lock/Unlock key [4] for about 2 s ec onds. Y ou hear a s hort tone. T he keys are
now loc ked.
2. T o unloc k the panel, pres s and hold the button again. Y ou hear a s hort tone.
Key Tones
E ac h time you pres s a key on the front panel, you hear a ton e.
1. T o s witc h off the tone, pres s and hold the OCP/Beep key [3] for about 2 s ec onds.
2. T o s witc h the tone on again, pres s and hold the OCP/Beep key [3] for about 2 s ec onds.
8. Protection
Using Overvoltage Protection
1. T o protec t against overvoltage, s et up the maximum voltage and then pres s the OVP button.
T he OVP indic ator lights.
2. P res s Of f/On to apply the output to the load.
I f the output voltage bec omes higher than the s et value, the power s upply c uts off the output and
the OVP indic ator flas hes.
3. D is connect the load.
4. T o rec over, pres s the OVP key.
Using Overcurrent Protection
1. T o protec t against overcurrent, s et up the maximum c urrent and then pres s the OCP button. T he
OCP indic ator lights.
2. P res s Of f/On to apply the output to the load.
I f the output c urrent bec omes higher than the s et value, the power s upply c uts off the output and
the OCP indic ator flas hes.
3. D is connect the load.
4. T o rec over, pres s the OCP key.
9. Troubleshooting

N othing happens when you pres s the panel keys.
T he keys are loc ked. P ress and hold the Lock/Unlock key [4] about 2 s ec onds. Y ou hear a tone
when they keys are unloc ked.

P ower is on and output is s witc hed on, but there is no output.
T he load is not properly c onnected, or the c urrent s etup is 0 .

T he output voltage ris es s lowly when the output is s witc hed on.
T he c urrent s etup is too s mall.
10. Remote Control via PC
T o operate the power s upply via the inc luded pc s oftware, proc eed as follows:
1. I ns tall the s oftware on your pc and launc h the s oftware .
2. C onnect the power s upply to the pc via the U SB [21] or RS2 32 [20] port and s witc h it on.
T he power s upply c onnects automatically to the s oftware . When c onnec tion is successful, you hear a
tone. O n the pc , the c ommunic ation s tatus [K] is indic ated.
Note: the keys on the front panel are loc ked when the power s upply is c onnected to a pc . Y ou c an only
operate the power s upply via the pc . T he L E D display and indic ators work normally.
