STEAM IRONING AND THE STEAM SHOT FUNCTION

Steam ironing
1. Place the steam iron that has been filled with water on its heel.
2. Insert the power plug into the receptacle.
3. Set the recommended ironing temperature by turning the temperature regulator (fig. 5). The
temperature control light in the handle will come on (fig. 6).
Note:
Check the care instructions on the labels as to whether and at which temperature the article of
clothing is suitable for ironing.
Caution: If the care instructions on the garment preclude ironing
damage the garment otherwise.
4. The iron will heat up. As soon as the iron has reached the set temperature, the temperature
control light (fig. 7) will go out.
5. Select the desired steam setting by means of the steam control button (fig. 8). The steam
controller engages in 2 positions a) and b). If the steam controller is in position b), the steam shot
is at maximum output.
Warning! Don't set the steam controller to steam until heat up has been finished.
6. Press the steam shot button, in order to release an additional steam shot (fig. 9).
Vertical steam shot
The steam shot function can be used also if the iron is held in an upright position. This function is
particularly suitable for smoothing hanging garments, curtains etc. (fig.10).
Caution! Never point the steam shot in the direction of people or animals. Do not push the steam shot
button fast and repeatedly, to avoid water leakage from the sole.
