BEFORE FIRST USE

Clean the device as described in Cleaning and Care before first use and after longer periods of
disuse.

FILLING THE WATER TANK

If you are ironing with steam fill the water tank with water before using the spray nozzle.
Caution! Pour tap water/distilled water only into the water tank. Otherwise you will damage your
steam iron.
1. Unplug the iron from the receptacle.
2. Set the steam control to no steam (fig. 1).
3. Open the cover of the filling opening (fig. 2).
4. Hold the iron at an angle and fill the water tank with the aid of the measuring beaker provided (fig. 3).
Please note! Do not fill the water tank beyond the MAX marking.
5. Close the cover of the filling opening until it snaps in audibly (fig. 4).

Caution!
Don't put fragrances, vinegar, laundry detergent, descaling agents, ironing additives or other
chemicals into the water tank.

SPRAY FUNCTION

The laundry can be dampened in difficult places by pressing on the spray button. The spray nozzle
can be used for ironing both with and without steam regardless of the temperature setting.
Please note: The spray function is available at any temperature. This function is suitable for the
removal of persistent wrinkles.
