HYB700TEST is a versatile tool for installing
video surveillance systems, offering the follow
ing features:
– indication of the signal formats SDI, AHD,
HDTVI, CVI, CVBS and the streaming for
mats of IP cameras
– recording and replay of audio and video files
– control of PTZ cameras via RS485
– cable tester
– mainsindependent battery operation (37 Wh)
– auxiliary power supply for cameras: ⎓ 12 V,
PoE
– auxiliary power supply: ⎓ 5 V
– test of a PoE source
– DHCP server function, search for IP address
– wireless LAN
– test signal generator (e. g. for monitors)
– LED torch
The different functions are arranged as individ
ual apps like on a tablet PC.
HYB700TEST includes:
– tester with protective rubber frame, handle
and carrying strap
– transport bag with carrying strap
– 12 V plugin power supply unit
– audio adapter cable
– RS485 adapter cable
– adapter cable for power supply of a camera
with 5.5 mm coaxial plug
– BNC connection cable and adapter cable to
crocodile clips
– network cable tester
– 8 GB memory card, type "microSDHC"
– detailed English manual
4 Operation
1) Switch on the POWER switch (10).
2) To switch on the tester, keep the key
pressed for a few seconds. The start screen
will appear and the operating system will be
loaded. After a few seconds, the main menu
(
figure) will appear.

4) The tester will automatically go to standby

Note: In case of malfunction, keep this key pressed
to reset the tester.

period of time or when transporting the
tester, switch off the tester with the POWER
switch (10).
4.1 Charging the battery
To charge the internal battery, connect the
power supply unit provided to the jack DC 12 V
IN (11) and to a mains socket (230 V/ 50 Hz).

(19) will light up. The charge indica
tion will go out as soon as the charge status
has reached approximately 90 % of the battery
capacity.
When the charge indication is off, the bat
tery may be charged for approximately one
more hour. After that, disconnect the power
supply unit from the tester.
Never put the lithiumion battery in
the household waste; always take it to
a collection point for special waste in
accordance with local regulations.
Note: During longer periods of storage, recharge the bat
tery from time to time to protect it from deep discharge.
4.2 Selecting the language
To select the language for the user interface:

1) Switch on the tester.
2) Call up the menu item "Settings" (in Ger
man: „Einstellungen")
3) Select the menu item "Language & input"
(in German: "Sprache & Eingabe")

4) Tap the corresponding language on the
right.
4.3 Calling up the manual
An English manual is available on the tester. To
call up the manual:
1) Switch on the tester.
2) Call up the menu item "Manual"
3) Call up the app "Manual" in the folder that
is open now.
4) Tap the screen at the top or swipe horizon
