Multifunction Tester for
Video Surveillance
These brief instructions are intended for
installers of video surveillance systems
with specific technical knowledge. Please
read the instructions carefully prior to op­
eration and keep them for later reference.
A detailed English manual is available on
the tester.
1 Safety Notes
The products (tester, power supply unit, net­
work cable tester) correspond to all relevant
directives of the EU and are therefore marked
with .
WARNING The power supply unit uses
dangerous mains voltage.
Leave servicing to skilled per­
sonnel only: Risk of electric
shock!
•
The products are suitable for indoor use only.
Protect them against dripping water, splash
water and high air humidity. The admissible
ambient temperature range is 0 – 40 °C.
•
Do not operate the tester in environments
with strong electromagnetic fields or close
to combustible gas.
•
Do not operate the products and immediate­
ly disconnect the power supply unit from the
socket
1. if one of the products is visibly damaged,
2. if a defect might have occurred after a
product was dropped or suffered a similar
accident,
3. if malfunctions occur.
In any case, the products must be repaired by
skilled personnel.
•
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never
use water or chemicals.
•
Do not leave the tester unattended while it
is being charged and do not charge for more
than 8 hours.
•
No guarantee claims for the products and
no liability for any resulting personal damage
or material damage will be accepted if the
products are used for other purposes than
originally intended, if they are not correctly
connected or operated, or if they are not re­
paired in an expert way. Likewise, no liability
will be accepted for any data loss as a result
of operating errors or a defect or for any con­
sequential damage caused by this data loss.
If the products are to be put out of
operation definitively, take them to
a local recycling plant for a disposal
which is not harmful to the environ­
ment.

1.1 Conformity and approval
Herewith, MONACOR INTERNATIONAL declare
that HYB­700TEST complies with the directive
2014 / 53 / EU. The EU declaration of conformity
is available on the Internet:
www.monacor.com
The tester operating in the range of 2.4 GHz
is generally approved for operation in EU and
EFTA countries. It is licence­free and requires
no registration.
