- Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
Use and care:
- Fully unroll the appliance's power cable before each use.
- Do not use the appliance if its attachments are not properly fitted.
- Do not switch the appliance on without water.
- Do not use the appliance if the on/off switch does not work.
- Use the appliance handle/s, to catch it or move it.
- Do not use the appliance if it is tipped up and do not turn it over.
- This appliance is for household use only, not professional or industrial use.
- This appliance should be stored out of reach of children and/or the
disabled.
- Do not put the appliance away if it is still hot.
- The use of distilled water is recommended, especially if the water in your
area contains any type of grit or is "hard" (contains calcium or magnesium).
- Periodically check that the seal of the safety cap is tight.
- Check that the safety cap is tightly screwed in before connecting the
appliance.
- Before each use, make sure that the product valve/s are not blocked.
- Do not use the appliance on any part of the body of a person or animal.
Service:
- Any misuse or failure to follow the instructions for use renders the guaran-
tee and the manufacturer's liability null and void.
Instructions for use
Before use:
- Prepare the appliance according to the function you wish to use.
Inserting an attachment in the rotating nozzle of the appliance:
- The rotating nozzle is designed in such a way that enables the insertion
of the following attachments: (use the combination that best suits your
requirements)
Fixing on and use of attachments
- Fabric brush: Especially designed for cleaning fabric surfaces. Insert the
attachment into the rotating nozzle and turn the attachment in the direction
of the arrow (clockwise direction) until the line of the attachment matches
the double attachment line marked on the nozzle. (Fig.1)
- Cloth: place on fabric brush.
- Window cleaning attachment: position the tabs of the window cleaning
attachment on the fabric brush hooks and press the bottom of the attach-
ment until the two parts are completely held together (Fig. 2). To remove
the window cleaning brush attachment, use your thumb to lift up the tab at
the bottom of the fitting and pull in an outwards direction until it becomes
separated (Fig. 3).
- Round Brush: Especially formulated to remove resistant dirt and grease.
Insert the attachment in the rotating nozzle and press. (Fig. 4)
Nozzle 90º: especially suitable for hard to reach areas. Introduce the
attachment in the rotating nozzle and press. (Fig.4)
- Elongated nozzle: especially designed for hard-to-reach areas. Insert the
attachment into the rotating nozzle and turn the attachment in the direction
of the arrow (clockwise direction) until the line of the attachment coincides
with the double line marked on the nozzle. (Fig.1)
Filling with water:
- The deposit must be filled with water before turning the appliance on.
- Do not force open the lid, make sure the appliance is completely depres-
surized prior to opening.
- Unscrew the safety cap.
- Fill the compartment with cold water.
- Pour water using the measuring jug and the corresponding funnel. The
maximum usable capacity of the boiler is 270ml.
- Make sure the safety cap is completely screwed on and tightened before
connecting the appliance.
Use:
- Connect the appliance to the mains.
- Wait until the pilot light (10) has gone out which will indicate that the
appliance has reached an adequate temperature.
Once you have finished using the appliance:
- Unplug the appliance to the mains.
- Remove water from the deposit. Do not force open the lid, make sure the
appliance is completely depressurized prior to opening.
- Clean the appliance

Cleaning
- Disconnect the appliance from the mains and let it cool before undertaking
any cleaning task.
- Clean the equipment using a damp cloth with a few drops of washing-up
liquid and then dry.
- Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or base pH such as bleach,
or abrasive products, for cleaning the appliance.
- Do not submerge the appliance in water or any other liquid, or place it
under a running tap.
How to deal with lime scale incrustations:
- For the appliance to work correctly it should be kept free of lime scale or
magnesium incrustations caused by the use of hard water.
- To do so, we recommend the use of the specific product Taurus Decal,
which can be found in specialised shops and authorised technical services.
Cleaning the detachable water heater
- Check that the appliance has cooled down (wait at least 3 hours after
disconnecting the appliance)
- Do not force open the lid, make sure the appliance is completely depres-
surized prior to opening.
- To empty the deposit unscrew the safety cap.
- Fill the deposit with approximately 220 ml of water and add the chosen
descaling product.
- Let the product take effect for around 30 minutes.
- Shake well and drain completely.
- If necessary, repeat the procedure.
Anomalies and repair
- Take the appliance to an authorised technical support service if problems
arise. Do not try to dismantle or repair without assistance, as this may be
dangerous.

Ecology and recyclability of the product
- The materials of which the packaging of this appliance consists are
included in a collection, classification and recycling system. Should you
wish to dispose of them, use the appropriate public containers for each
type of material.
- The product does not contain concentrations of substances that could be
considered harmful to the environment
This symbol means that in case you wish to dispose of the
product once its working life has ended, take it to an
authorised waste agent for the selective collection of waste
electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)
