FIRMWARE UPDATE

The RFP1000 embedded software can be upgraded from files with the .RFP extension.
The current version of the RFP1000 is visible in the «SYSTEM» tab of the configurator. It may be
necessary to restart the configurator after a new version of the software has been programmed, to
check the new current version.
The update process takes about 2 minutes.
It is marked by the blinking of the indicator light in red.
When it is finished, the indicator light stops blinking red.
The update provides the following features:
• It is not possible to program software with corrupted files or files with unknown origin.
• It is not possible to program a software version already embedded and operational (in which
case the indicator does not light red).
• A power breakdown of the RFP1000 (or other interrupt source) while the firmware is being
programmed has no consequence.
Maximum operating temperature = 45°C
Power supply only from a PS2 source according to IEC 62368-1: 2014.
