MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE TOSCA 90 TRAY WITH FEET
(BASE) AND FRONT PANEL.
1.
Turn the tray upside down and place something under it so that the base is horizontal. Protect the edges of the tray and
the raised seat from being scratched and damaged.
2.
On the bottom of the tray, measure and draw a lengthwise axis from the corner with the seat to the center of the opposite
curved side. Secondly, the vertical axis joins the opposite corners of the tray.
3.
Using the 85 mm threaded rods, screw the plastic legs into the second holes of the three metal supports (the holes on
the bevelled end). The fourth support has a 360 mm threaded rod mounted in the end hole. It has a leg on one end and
a plastic covering on the other end which supports the seat. The fifth leg should be screwed to the opposite end of the
support, in the middle of the tray.
4.
Mount the 170 mm threaded rod, together with a clip into the end hole of the support (position 15). Place the plastic
sheath over the upper end of the rod for supporting the edges of the tray.
5.
Place the tray support with seat rest on the lengthwise axis of the
tray. Adjust the support in a lengthwise direction so that its axis is
230 to 250 mm from the corner of the reinforced part. Mark four
holes on the bottom of the tray according to the 6 mm diameter
openings in the supports.
supports must always be drilled into the reinforced part of the
bottom of the tray at least 20 mm from the edge.
6.
The second lengthwise support should be placed so that the
middle of the outer threaded rod with clip is 45 mm from the outer
edge of the tray. In its final position, draw four holes for mounting the
support to the tray. Place the vertical support parallel to the cross
axis at a distance of 140 mm. Adjust the position so that the axis of
the supporting rod with clip is 250 mm from the side wall, and at the
same time is 45 mm from the outer edge of the tray. Adjust the
support and mark the holes for mounting.
7.
Remove the supports and drill 2.6 mm diameter holes (with the
enclosed drill bit) into the bottom of the tray.
into the reinforced part of the bottom of the tray and use a 10 mm
stop to prevent damage of the acrylic on the other side of the tray.
8.
Place the support structure back over the tray and mount it with
5,5 x 16 mm bolts.
9.
Adjust the position of the threaded rod with clip and mark the
position of the plastic holders on the tray. Glue the holders to the
marked areas using quick glue. When it has dried, lightly tighten the
nuts so as not to deform the upper edge of the tray. Place silicon
around the edges of the holders.
10.
Vertically set the clips to the proper height about 1-2 mm from
the outer edge of the tray. Use the width of the 2,6 mm diameter drill
for measuring the gap between the rim of the tray and the clips.
Tighten the nuts.
11.
Set the tray into its final position and level it using a spiritlevel.
ATTENTION!
When using a panel, measure the distance from the
floor to the rim of the tray. It should be 200 to 202 mm.
12.
Slide the panel into the clips and align it. Outline the shape of the
panel onto the floor and onto the side walls.
13.
After removing the panel, place the four plastic stops evenly along the border. Measure 35 mm from the outline and
mark the center for attaching a stop (pic. 2). Drill an 8 mm diameter hole, insert a dowel, and bolt the stop to the floor.
14.
Also use these stops to secure the upper part of the panels to the walls. At a height of 150 to 170 mm from the floor, and
30 mm from the marked vertical outline of the panel, drill an 8 mm diameter hole for a dowel and tighten the plastic holders
the stop should be 3 mm from the outline of the panel (pic. 3). Repeat this step for the other side of the panel. Test the
mounted panel, adjust the placement of the stops and test the movement of the clips.
15.
After adjusting the true height of the tray with the panel, continue working from the "Assembly Instructions" that come
with the tray. Outline the shape of the tray on the wall and tighten the plastic holders so that the tray can be mounted on
them. Install the siphon and connect it to the drain pipe.
16.
Before final placement of the tray, place some putty into the teeth of the holders and then mount the tray. Place a small
amount of putty into the teeth of the holders which have been used as panel stops and mount the panel. Use silicon in the
spaces between the tray and the wall and in the vertical spaces of the panel.
