Cleaning and Care

Single-Patient Cuffs (M18xxB) are for single-patient use, so do not
attempt to disinfect or sterilize them. You can, however, wipe the cuffs
with mild soap and water.
WARNING
• Do not sterilize cuffs. Do not disinfect. Do not use bleach.
• When cleaning the cuffs, use care to prevent liquid from entering the
tubing since these fluids can damage the monitor. Do not immerse
the cuff or tubing.
Cuff Disposal
Any cuff that becomes damaged or deteriorated should be discarded.
Always follow approved disposal methods for medical waste as specified
by your facility (hospital, clinic, etc.) or local regulations.
