Piece counting

To count pieces, the counting scales require the unit weight of the parts to be counted. There
are two possibilities to provide this.
1.Direct entry of unit weight
If the unit weight is known, place the parts to be counted on the scales. When the unit weight
has been entered, the total weight will immediately be converted into the quantity of the pieces.
Total weight / unit weight / quantity will be shown in the respective displays.

The values will remain the memory of the scales until the scales are turned off.
If different unit weights are required, these can just be overwritten.
2. Unit weight determination by reference weighing
If the unit weight is unknown, the piece counting scales can determine the unit weight
independently by means of the information how many reference parts are placed on the scales.
TIP: As the individual parts are subject to weight differences due to some production factors, we
recommend you to use a relatively high number of parts as reference (>10).
