4. PROGRAMMING AND CHANGING SETTINGS
To assign the device to a bell push button as the 1st or 2nd device, see the user manual of the power
supply 10-80x or the user manual of the service device 10-870.
To add the device to an installation as the 3rd or 4th device on a bell push button, program it in parallel
(as SLAVE) with another internal unit (see sections on programming with service device or programming
manually below).
Programming the function key
Connect the service device to the installation via the conductors a, b and P or via the connector provided
on the external unit. The serial numbers of the internal and external units can be found on the devices
and can be affixed to the installation diagram for easy programming.
Example of a serial number:
Call diversion
"Ring-and-come-in" function
Make an internal call
Transmit control function 8
Connect the internal unit as
SLAVE to a MASTER
Switch off SLAVE programming
Please note: Only one of the functions above can be carried out.
Manual programming of function keys
If you do not have a service device, you can always set up the internal unit manually.
Step 1: Set the internal unit to programming mode.
