10-520 Installation manual internal audio unit
Read the entire manual before attempting installation and activating the system.
1. DESCRIPTION
The internal audio unit 10-520 from the Access Control Standard range is always part of a system
with one or more external units and one power supply.
The internal audio unit allows you to:
• open a door
• make a call
• deactivate the ring tone
• switch the lighting or an extra contact on/off

Function keys and LEDs
Opens the door and ends the communication 4 sec. later.
• Begin and end a call by pressing briefly.
• In the event of a lot of noise in the immediate area, you can press and hold this key while
you speak (walkie-talkie principle).
Switches off the ring tone. The red LED lights up.
Switches the light contact of the power supply (10-80X).
Performs one of these functions:
• transmits control function 8 to operate relay 10-831 (standard function)
• makes an internal call activates the 'ring-and-come-in' function
• activates call diversion
(The internal unit is programmed in parallel, as SLAVE, on another internal unit.)
Red LED
• Ring tone is switched off.
• Flashing LED: The call has been answered by another device or the system is busy.
Green LED
• Call indication
• Call diversion or "ring-and-come-in" function is active.
Setting the ring tone
A separate ring tone is available for each type of call. The internal unit can differentiate between a
call from the main external unit (with address 0), another external unit, an internal unit and the floor-bell
push button.
