USING YOUR TOASTER

1. Insert a slice of bread into the toaster slot. A
maximum of two slices can be inserted into
the toaster.
NOTE: Check that the crumb tray is inserted into
the appliance prior to use.
2. Plug the power cable into a mains socket.
3. Adjust the control button to
the browning level desired.
This button has 6 positions
(image 1), "1" corresponds
to the lightest browning
level and "6" to the darkest
browning level. The bread becomes golden at
the middle position.
NOTE:
1) Toasting is more intense when you only
toast one slice of bread instead of two
simultaneously.
2) When toasting successively, slices of bread
toasted afterwards will be darker than the
previous ones.
4. Lower the toasting lever vertically until it
locks, the cancel light will come on and the

appliance will immediately begin to toast.
5. Once the bread has been toasted to the level
set, the lever will lift automatically. You can
also lift the lever slightly by hand to be able
to remove the toast more easily (image 2).
NOTE: During toasting, watch
the colour of the bread. When it is
satisfactory, you can press the Cancel
button to turn off the appliance at any
time.
6. To toast frozen bread, first adjust
the control button to the toasting
level desired, and then lower the toasting
lever vertically until it locks. Then press the
Defrost button. The Defrost button LED
will come one. In this mode, the bread will be
toasted to the toasting level you want.
7. To reheat cold toast, first adjust the control
button to the toasting level desired, and
then lower the toasting lever vertically until
it locks. Then press the Reheat button. The
Reheat button LED will come one. In this
mode, the toasting time is fixed. Once the
time has elapsed, the toasting lever will lift
automatically and finish the reheating.
