USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

• It is possible that the toaster will generate a
slight smell when first being used; this is due
to manufacturing grease or residues remaining
inside the toaster or on the heating element.
This occurrence is normal and fades after a
few uses. At first use, it is recommended that
you operate the appliance as described below,
but without bread, then leave to cool before
toasting the first slice of bread.
