26. Clean the steam (10) accordingly with a normal damp cloth.
Hot water:
27. Check that the tank contains water. ATTENTION: the internal tank has a special floating device that controls the water
level. In case of lack of water, the sound alarm buzzes. Please fill the water tank with water (as described under Starting
the machine, points 3-5): this will shut the buzzer, confirming that the water level is suitable.
28. Never place your hands or other body parts under the hot water wand. This may cause serious burns.
29. Verify that the machine is ready for use. As soon as the led (4) goes off, the machine is ready.
30. Place a container/mug under the hot water nozzle (12). Turn the hot water knob (11) anti-clockwise.
31. Hot water at about 95° will come out of the nozzle. Close the hot water tap (11) when you have enough hot water by
turning the knob clockwise.
32. The boiler will recharge itself automatically.

ROUTINE MAINTENANCE AND PRECAUTIONS:

Clean the water tank regularly.

Change the water in the tank if the machine has not been used for a long time.

Clean up the steam tube (10) after every use.
−
Use a normal damp cloth to clean the machine.
−
Do not leave the machine outdoors.
−
Do not immerse the machine in water.
−
Use the machine only under adult control and keep it away from children's reach.
−
Do not wash filters and filter holder in the dishwasher. Wash them only with hot water.

During normal functioning some parts of the appliance body can reach high temperatures: please handle with due
−
caution! Never touch the coffee distribution grouphead (13). Burn danger! The massive grouphead will remain quite hot
for some time after turning the machine off. The thermosyphon will continue to circulate hot water through the internal
parts of the grouphead for a while.
Clean the bottom part of the coffee distribution grouphead with a damp cloth to remove all coffee residues after

each use.
Backflushing:
Once a month it's advisable to clean the internal parts of the machine and to do a backflushing using the blind filter (21)
Please consult your local distributor/seller in order to fully understand the entire procedure and to know which decalcifier to
use.
ATTENTION: the machine is equipped with a water tank of 2.7l with missing water sensor connected to a buzzer. If the
water finishes during the normal functioning, the missing water sensor will allow 15sec. of time to finish the coffee; once
the coffee is done, the water tank must be filled with.
We suggest reading the instruction booklet carefully and checking the water level in the water tank regularly.
Water softener included (inserted on the plastic tube, inside the water tank): one way water softener for espresso
machines. It protects the machine from limestone residues. It needs to be replaced according to the water hardness and
consumption following the below table:

NB: It's is necessary to replace the resin filter as indicated above otherwise the limestone residues can damage the coffee
machine (the warranty does not cover this type of damage).
