- Never use product without its protective guard.
- Ensure that ventilation holes are clean or free from debris
- Avoid bumping into hard objects (e.g. trees, fences...). Should it happen, do not use product until it
is thoroughly checked.
- Do not use metal cutting elements. Use cutting line recommended by the manufacturer or vendor or
nylon line min. diameter ∅ 1.4mm.
- stop using the product while people, especially children, or pets are nearby
- The use of this product is forbidden to children.
- Only well-instructed adults should operate the product. This product is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the product by a person responsible for their safety.
- Only use accessories (cutting line...) whose rated speed is at least equal to the normal operation
speed of the product.
- Do not use a damaged, eccentric or vibrating product
- Always hold the product firmly so as to avoid kickbacks
- Never seize the cutting line or spool during operation
- Warning: Cutting elements continue to rotate after the motor is switched off.
Always stop the product before putting it down (note: ensure that cutting element is no longer
rotating when you put down the product.)
IV. GETTING STARTED
Before any intervention on product, ensure that switch is off and product is
disconnected form its power source.
UNPACKING
Remove product from its packaging.
Check that product and accessories are not damage.
ASSEMBLY OF PROTECTIVE GUARD
8. Push the guard over the spool holder and onto the
motor housing.
9. Make sure that the cutting lines are not trapped under
the guard.
10. Make sure that the four screw holes in the guard are
aligned with the four holes in the motor housing.
11. Secure the guard using the four longer screws
provided.
12. Secure the edging wheel attachment onto the guard
using the two shorter screws provided.
13. Remove the blade protector on the line trimming
blade prior to use.
14. Always replace the blade-protector after use.
Warning: The protective guard is fitted with a sharp blade for trimming the cutting line.
Make sure that the blade protector is in place before fitting the protective guard. The line trimming
blade is sharp and can cut you.
Warning: Never use the trimmer without the guard.
