is divided according to its composition and delivered to the waste disposal.
Maintain a distance of 5 cm between the back (stack) of the appliance and the wall plate.
There are no special requirements regarding distances of the sides from walls or other equipment, it is
recommended that you leave enough space at the side for any maintenance and/or repair operations.
If positioned in direct contact with combustible walls, we recommend the application of a suitable
thermal insulation.
The appliance must be leveled. Slight unevenness can be eliminated by using the adjustable feet
(screwing or unscrewing). Significant height differences may adversely affect the operation of the ap-
pliance.
2.2. Connection to the water mains
The water pressure in the supply network must be between 50 and 300 kPa, otherwise a pressure
reducer must be installed upstream of the appliance.
A stop cock for each line must be installed upstream of the appliance.
The 10 mm connections for water (both hot and cold) are located in the lower part of the right side of
the appliance.
Connect as required by the current provisions.
2.3. Connection to the gas distribution network
The choice of the gas pipeline depends on the diameter provided for the type of gas and appliance,
and also the installation, it must be performed in compliance with applicable regulations
The gas supply system can be fixed or detachable; if you use hoses, these must be of stainless mate-
rial and not subject to corrosion.
If when making the connection sealing materials are used, they must be certified and approved for
that purpose.
The gas connection is on the lower part of the right side of the appliance.
Once the connection is complete it is important to test the seals on all the connections done between
the appliance and the system. For the purpose, leak detection spray is recommended, otherwise cover
the parts with foamy substances that do not cause corrosion, bubbles should not form. The seal test
is to be also carried out on the quick-action stop cock.
i
Flames are strictly prohibited for the seal test!
2.4. Operating controls of the gas system
Check that the gas provision of the unit (class and type of gas) corresponds to the family of gas avail-
able on site. Otherwise, it is necessary first of all to arrange for the conversion of the appliance to that
available. Consult the paragraph "Conversion to other types of gas".
The appliance must be operated with the nozzles provided for its nominal heat capacity and with cali-
bration adequate for the minimum flowrate. (See table 5 of pragraph "Technical data").
The operation of the appliance with its provided heat output depends on the intake pressure and the
calorific value of the gas.
The range of pressure (inlet pressure) for which it is permitted to operate the appliance is given in Table
6b "Intake pressures" in "Technical data". Operation of the appliance is not permitted outside of these
pressure ranges. If you encounter pressures that differ from those indicated in Table 6b, it is advisable
to notify the supplier or the company that performed the installation.
The calorific value of the gas (Hi) is to be requested from the gas supplier and should match the one
shown in Table 5, "Technical data gas" in "Technical data".
