18
FCC contact N.C. input, closing direction travel limit
19
FTC-I contact N.C. input, safety and control devices in input (pho-
tocells invert the travel direction when an obstruction is detected)
The opening of this contact will provoke a travel direction inversion
during closure due to the cutting in of the safety device.
20
TB contact N.C. input, blocking button (The opening of this contact
will interrupt the cycle until a new movement command is given).
21
Td contact N.A. input, dynamic button Open/Close

23
Antenna pole for the RF module (Connect the antenna using coaxial
cable with an impedance of 50Ω)
NB. ALL UNUSED N.C. CONTACTS MUST BE JUMPED
Switch on the power and make sure that the red indicator LEDS are in the
following condition:
- L1 Red indicator led time programming button
- L2 Red indicator led MEMO/DEL
- L3 Red safety led blocking button
- L4 Red safety led inverting photoelectric cells
- L5 Red power on led
* Only lit when memory is completely full.
Check that the activation of the safety devices (those which have not been
bridged) switch the corresponding LEDS off. If the red power on LED doesn't
light up check the condition of the fuses and the power cable connection
between binding posts 3 and 4. If one or more of the safety LEDS do not
light up check the contacts of the relative security devices and check that
the unused safety device contacts have been bridged.
TIME PROGRAMMING PROCEdURE
Make sure that the garage door is closed before starting the procedure.
- keep button "P1" (fig.10) pressed down for about 4 seconds, the red LED
"L1" will light up indicating that you have entered the time programming
mode.
- release the button (keeping it pressed has no effect)
Note: the programming button is the only enabled command during this
stage.
- the next time the button is pressed the system begins the opening manoeu-
vre and starts counting the work time; this is only carried out for the opening
stage; if an object crosses the photoelectric cells during programming the
system will block and the time count will be stopped. Once the obstacle
has been removed the programming procedure will carry on from where
it left off.
The triggering of the mechanical opening travel limit will not stop the work
time count, which carried on until "P1" is pressed again.
Warning!: The time which elapses between the intervention of the
mechanical travel limit and the next time you press "P1" must not
exceed 4 seconds. Ignoring this safety warning could compromise
the correct operation of the electric lock.
- when button "P1" is pressed the second time, the work time programming
stage is complete and the system starts counting the pause time (pause
before automatic reclosing); the count will continue until "P1" is pressed
again.
- after button "P1" has been pressed a third time the system exits the
programming mode and memorises the parameters under EEPROM: the
parameters are checked straight away and if the result is positive LED "L1"
will switch off and the closing cycle will start.
The night light activates and remains on until 30 seconds after the comple-
tion of the closing cycle.
- If the parameters have not been memorised correctly under EEPROM LED
will flash until a new time programming sequence is started.
Attention!: If an obstacle is interfering with the photoelectric cells
when "P1" is pressed for the third time LED "L2" will start flashing.
The LED will stop flashing and the closing cycle will start only after
the obstacle has been removed.
During time programming the flashing warning lights activate as normal (as
if the door were moving).
If the night light is on when you enter programming it will be switched off and
switched on again when the door is opening or closing.
The dynamic and blocking commands can be controlled by a radio control
device, after having memorised the code as follows:
A
Channel 1
dynamic command
A
C H
B
C H
C
C H
D
C H
off
The function "CH1" (fig. A) controls the dynamic command and the function
off*
"CH2" (fig. B) controls the blocking command. In the configuration shown in
on
the example (detail C) channel "A" on the transmitter is controlling the dynamic
on
command while channel "d" is controlling the blocking command.

REMOTE CONTROL

S449/S486 SERIES RAdIOCONTROLS
Memory module
This is extractable, furnished with a non volatile EEPROM type memory and
contains the transmitter codes and allows you to memorise up to 300 codes
(300 channel buttons).
The programmed codes are maintained in this module even in the absence
of power.
• Before memorising the transmitters for the first time remember to cancel
the entire memory content.
• Attention! If the electronic card has to be replaced due to failure, the
module can be extracted from it and inserted into the new card.
Signal LEds "L2" (fig.10):
Flashing quickly:
cancels a single code
Flashing slowly:
memorises a single code
Permanently lit:
memory full.
TRANSMITTER COdE MANAGEMENT
A. Memorising a channel (using the associated transmitter)
B. Cancelling a channel (using the associated transmitter)
C. Cancelling all codes in memory
d. Memorising ulterior channels via radio (without having to open the
box in which the receiver is housed)
A - Memorising a channel (fig.10):
1. Press and hold down button "P2" MEMO: The LED "L2" will flash
slowly.
2. At the same time activate the transmitter which is to be memorised.
3. Hold down button "P2" MEMO until LED "L2" starts to flash again.
4. Release the button: The LED will continue to flash.
5. Activate the transmitter again (same transmitter, same channel; if the
channel is different or it is a different transmitter the memorisation attempt
will abort without success)
6. End of memorisation: The LED "L2" will remain lit for 2 seconds, indicating
that the transmitter has been correctly memorised.
Note: It is not possible to memorise a code which is already in memory: if you
attempt this, the LED will switch off when you activate the transmitter (point
2). Only after releasing the button "P2" MEMO will you be able to continue
the memorising procedure.
If after activating the transmitter for the first time you wait for more than fifteen
seconds without activating the transmitter a second time the memorisation
attempt will abort without success.
