Please read these instructions carefully and keep them for
future reference.
1- This appliance is designed as a "humidifier for domestic
environments"; any other use is considered unsuitable and
therefore hazardous. The manufacturer takes no responsibility for
any damage caused by improper, wrong or irrational use of the
appliance.
2- This product is not a toy. Keep out of reach of children. It must
NOT be used by children, people with impaired physical, sensory
or mental capabilities or people with learning difficulties, unless
they are supervised or have been properly informed about how to
handle the product correctly and they are aware of the potential
hazards. It must be used, cleaned and maintained by an adult.
3- After removing the humidifier from its packaging, make sure it
is intact and there is no visible damage. If in doubt, do not use it
and contact the manufacturer or distributor. If the power supply
cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or
authorised repair service.
4- Place the appliance on a flat, rigid, stable surface out of the
reach of children. Do not place on delicate surfaces or surfaces
that are sensitive to heat, water or moisture.
5- Do not use the humidifier in high-temperature environments.
6- Plug the appliance into a socket that is out of the reach of
children. Make sure that the power rating is compatible with the
mains electricity supply to which it is connected (see the plate on
the underside of the appliance).
7- Do not use plug adapters, socket strips and/or extension
leads.
8- Disconnect the humidifier from the mains before filling it with
water for use and before cleaning.
9- Before switching the humidifier on, it is recommendable to
rinse the nebuliser and tank carefully with tap water.
10- Only use water to fill the tank. Using bottled mineral water
or distilled water will extend the useful life of the appliance
and reduce the frequency with which it needs to be cleaned to
remove limescale.
11- Do not add any essential oil or aromatic substance to the
water in the base or the water tank.
12- When the appliance is not in use, empty the water from the
tank to prevent microorganisms growing in it. They can breed
in the water tank and be dispersed in the air, posing a serious
health hazard. It is therefore recommendable to change the water
in the tank every 3 days while the appliance is in use. After these
3 days, clean the humidifier with tap water and remove any film
that might have formed on the surface of the tank. To prevent
microorganisms growing in the water more thoroughly, refill the
tank with boiled water and leave it to cool to about 40º C.
13- High levels of humidity can promote the growth of
microorganisms in the environment.
14- Ensure that the area where the humidifier is situated does not
get wet or damp. If it is excessively damp, point the mist outlet in
a different direction or even switch it off.
15- Place the humidifier in such a way that the mist from it is
